Join us at the Mackay Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) for a Kids Aquathlon & Triathlon for ages 5-12 years on Sunday 14 December 2025 at 7.30am.
No prior Aquathlon or Triathlon experience is required. This is a non-competitive event. Kids just need to be able to complete their age group distance in each leg.
This is a 100% off road event. The swim will be in the 25m MARC pool so kids can swim their allocated safe distance, ride within the safety of both the MARC and University’s carparks and private driveway and run on the state of the art tartan running track.
Check in is at 7am, race briefing at 7.15am and race start time is 7.30am.
Register your child in their relevant age group. Please register them for the age group associated with their age as of 31 December 2025*. If your child is turning 10 on the 15th December, please register them for the 10-12 age group.
Choose one of the following Event Distances:
5-6 Years - 25m Swim / 500m Run
7-9 Years - 50m Swim / 1km Run
10-12 Years - 100m Swim / 1.5km Run
7-9 Years - 50m Swim / 3.2km Cycle / 1km Run
10-12 Years - 100m Swim / 4.3km Cycle / 1.5km Run
