Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at our MINI & MEGA MACH Adventure Challenge! Great for juniors, families, and first-time adventure racers ages 6yrs+ looking to dive into the world of multi-sport racing in a fast-paced, fun and supportive environment.
Registration Fee: $39.95* per entry
What’s Included with your Registration: Professional event photos, insurance, entry into the draw to win a new Giant MTB courtesy of Corry Cycles and that hard-earned finisher’s medal. Parent/Carer FREE when registering as a pair with a 6-10 year old mini-athlete.
Starting from our brand-new HQ at the Finch Hatton RSL, participants will tackle a thrilling adventure featuring a fun mountain biking course and exciting navigation challenges. Whether you go solo, pair up (ages 6-10yrs must be paired with an adult) or team up with a friend, the MINI MACH promises an action-packed adventure through the stunning landscapes of Mackay’s Pioneer Valley.
Join us for a morning of outdoor fun, community spirit, and a chance to discover what adventure racing is all about. Make a weekend of it — camp under the stars, enjoy participating, spectating or volunteering at ZACH MACH Adventure Challenge on Saturday 9 May before kicking off or ending your adventure racing journey with the MINI MACH Adventure Challenge on Sunday 10 May!
There is prize money up for grabs in each category!

Our new course features the famous Cattle Creek, offering lots of opportunities to get wet and enjoy a fun morning of exploration and challenges.
The MEGA MACH Option features an exhilarating extra distance and is open to 10+. Be sure to register to secure your spot and prepare for an unforgettable adventure!

All competitors MUST attend this briefing as it will cover important information including:

We understand that circumstances can change, and while refunds are not available for this event, we offer the following options:
Transfers: You may transfer your entry to the 2027 ZACH MACH up to 7 days before the event for a $15 administration fee.
Non-Transferable: Within 7 days of the event, registrations are final and cannot be transferred.

COURSE MAP*
Our MINI & MEGA MACH Course weaves between cane fields, Cattle Creek within Mackay’s beautiful Pioneer Valley. Participants are faced with an orienteering course through Cattle Creek and a Challenge Station by Pinnacle State School.
2026 REGISTRATION for the MEGA MACH for 10YRS+ is open online.
